The Link Alumni Association

History: In January of 1999, The Link Alumni Association was formed to offer continued peer support for alumni of The Link Halfway House, financial support of the The Link, and ongoing mentoring and sponsoring of the current Link residents.  The Link Alumni Association incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation, 501(c)(3) organization in 1999.  All contributions to the organization are tax deductible to individuals and businesses.  The Link Alumni Association conducts their monthly business meetings on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

Since its formation, The Link Alumni Association has provided recreational outings (bowling, softball games, miniature golf, etc.) for the residents of The Link Halfway house.

In the summer of 1999 the Link Alumni Association took over coordination/hosting of the annual LINK GOLF TOURNAMENT , the 2nd year of the annual event.  Each year there are typically 80 to 90 participants in this tournament, with the proceeds earmarked each year for purchasing major needs of the halfway house.  The Link Alumni also conduct an annual raffle in November with the proceeds designated for purchase of Christmas gifts for the current residents of the halfway house.
