Admission Criteria: The Link accepts referrals from a variety of sources, including: - Residential (inpatient) chemical dependency treatment programs
- Out-patient chemical dependency treatment programs
- State Probation Officers
- State Parole Officers
- Federal pre-trial services
- Federal Parole Officers
- Self-referrals
- Referrals will be screened by The Link Director and/or Counselors to determine the appropriateness of residency at The Link halfway house.
- Referrals must be physically capable of full-time employment, unless receiving disability income. Those individuals receiving disability income will be required to perform volunteer work at a local service organization.
- Candidates with dual diagnosis issues must be stabilized, have prearranged appointments with mental health providers and must have a renewable source for medications.
- Candidates for The Link must be abstinent from all mood altering chemicals, not prescribed by a physician, for a minimum of 72 hours prior to admission.
- Candidates must have a srong desire to achieve personal recovery from addiction.
- All admissions at The Link are considered voluntary admissions.
