Admission Criteria:

• Residential (inpatient) chemical dependency treatment programs
• Out-patient chemical dependency treatment programs
• State Probation Officers
• State Parole Officers
• Federal pre-trial services
• Federal Parole Officers
• Self-referrals

• Referrals will be screened by The Link Director and/or Counselors to determine the appropriateness of residency at The Link halfway house.
• Referrals must be physically capable of full-time employment, unless receiving disability income.  Those individuals receiving disability income will be required to perform volunteer work at a local service organization.
• Candidates with dual diagnosis issues must be stabilized, have prearranged appointments with mental health providers and must have a renewable source for medications.
• Candidates for The Link must be abstinent from all mood altering chemicals, not prescribed by a physician, for a minimum of 72 hours prior to admission.
• Candidates must have a srong desire to achieve personal recovery from addiction.
• All admissions at The Link are considered voluntary admissions.
